Donna Marie Sheehan

Donna Marie Sheehan, of Seward, was born on November 4, 1933 to Clarence Henry and Emma (Tonniges) Junge in York, Nebraska.  She was baptized in Thayer, Nebraska on November 24, 1933.  She graduated from Benedict High School in 1952. On April 6, 1956, Donna was united in marriage to Cornelius Anthony Sheehan in Thayer, Nebraska.  They were blessed with three children, Patty, Michael and Timothy. Donna was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family.  She also owned a business with her husband from 1971-2015.  Donna was a self-taught bookkeeper.  In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, especially with her granddaughters at Christmas time.  They were known to have annual shopping trips for holiday outfits.  The boys got clothes too but did not get to go shopping.  She liked to garden and watch birds.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.  Donna passed away on November 27, 2021 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 88 years and 23 days.  She is survived by her husband, Cornelius Sheehan, Seward, Nebraska; children, Patty (Robert) Herron, Utica, Nebraska, Michael (Lori) Sheehan, Seward, Nebraska; special niece, Michelle (Jeff) Gibbens, Comstock, Nebraska; 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Dale (Marlene) Junge, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Connie (Gerald) Saunders, Lincoln, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Jan Junge, Lakewood, Colorado; step sister-in-law, Maxine Erks, Seward, Nebraska.  Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Emma Junge; father-in-law and stepmother-in-law, Edward and Jessie Sheehan; mother-in-law, Mary Larkin; son, Tim Sheehan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alberta and Ernest Brackhan, Ardith and Gerald Wolvin, Joyce and Kurt Waibel; brother, Marlin Junge; sisters-in-law, Kathleen and Robert Cain; step sisters-in-law, Nadine and Roy Schmersal, Helen and Gordon Craig, Betty Jean and Charles Devon; step brother-in-law, Don Erks.
