Galyn Albert Johnson, of Rising City, was born on June 14, 1960 to Ronald and Audrey (Kallenbach) Johnson in Beatrice, Nebraska. Galyn worked at Kawasaki. In his free time, Galyn enjoyed motorcycles, Nascar and Sprint Cars. He also liked to go hunting and watch T.V. Galyn passed away on January 12, 2022 in Osceola, Nebraska at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 29 days. He is survived by is wife, Lavetta Johnson, Red Cloud, Nebraska; children, Melissa (Matt) Schrawyer, Red Cloud, Nebraska, Mark (Alicia) Ryan, Hurley, South Dakota. Cassandra (Chris) Grams, David City, Nebraska, Steven Albers, Lincoln, Nebraska, Angelica Albers, Rising City, Nebraska; grandchildren, Weston Schrawyer, Sadie Schrawyer, Knox Galyn Ryan, Ian Grams, Payton Grams, Maviric Grams, Ava Dyas; brothers, Gary (Shelley) Johnson, Seward, Nebraska, Gene Johnson, Lincoln, Nebraska; sister, Genon (Jerald “Jerry”) Dobrusky, Seward, Nebraska; sisters-in-law, Lahoma (Jason) Stone, LaDell (Raymond) Heryford. Galyn was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Johnson and Audrey Hackworth; stepfather, John “Bud” Hackworth; grandsons, Glen and Gage Schrawyer; niece, Shawna Dobrusky.
