Gary Lee Schluckebier

Gary Lee Schluckebier, of Seward, was born on September 8, 1945 to Edmund and Dorothy (VanAndel) Schluckebier in Seward, Nebraska.  He graduated from Seward High School in 1963.  On August 5, 1967, Gary was united in marriage to Julie Wiemer at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Utica, Nebraska.  Gary was a farmer his entire life.  In his free time, he enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports and playing cards with friends. He was a member of Goehner Volunteer Fire Department.  Gary passed away on August 5, 2021 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 28 days.  Gary is survived by his wife, Julianna “Julie” Schluckebier, Seward, Nebraska; children, Carman (Rodney) Koranda, Lance Schluckebier, Wade (Laura) Schluckebier,  Brent (Clarissa) Schluckebier; grandchildren, Cody (Krista) Koranda, Casey Koranda, Crayton Koranda, Bryson Schluckebier, KaeLee Schluckebier, Paige Schluckebier, Kaleb Schluckebier, Ryon Richardson, Annika Schluckebier, Zachary Schluckebier, Cabe Schluckebier, Eli Schluckebier, Mia Schluckebier; great grandchildren, Lena Koranda, Jack Koranda; sisters, Donna (Eric) Michel, Mary Ann Cromwell with special friend Mark.  Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Dorothy Schluckebier and in-laws Carl Wiemer and Irvin and Nora Erks.
