Wilbur Walter Thole

Wilbur Walter Thole, of Milford, was born on December 5, 1931 to Henry and Anna (Remus) Thole.  He attended Geneva High School. Wilbur served in the United States Air Force.  On April 7, 1963, he was united in marriage to Lucille Luebbe in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Wilbur farmed his entire life.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing.  He loved to talk and joke around with people.  Wilbur was a member of Seward County Pork Producers.  He was part of a committee that helped to bring Farmland Foods to Crete.  He was also a part of the “Top 200 Pork Patrons” of Farmland Foods.  Wilbur passed away on August 27, 2021 at his home near Milford, Nebraska at the age of 89 years, 8 months and 22 days.  He is survived by his daughter, LuAnn Thole, Milford, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Laura Schultz, Sargent, Nebraska.  Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Thole; wife, Lucille Thole; brothers, Harvey & Mona Thole, Donnie Jo Thole; sister, Evelyn Thole.
