Yuriy Alekseevich Nevzorov was born on May 18, 1962, in Kiselevsk, Russia, to Alexey and Zoya Nevzorov. He dedicated 23 years of service as a galvanizer at Hughes Brothers before retiring in 2022. On May 4, 1996, Yuriy was united in marriage to Nadezhda (Zalesova) in Kiselevsk, Russia. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love. Yuriy greatly cherished time spent with his family. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, especially Christian songs that reflected his strong faith. He was a devoted and longtime member of First Slavic Baptist Church in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he deeply valued the fellowship of his church family. Yuriy also had a lifelong passion for motorcycles, owning and riding them both in Russia and in the United States. He was especially gifted when it came to working on vehicles and was known for his ability to fix nearly anything. His knowledge, hardworking nature, and willingness to help others will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Yuriy is survived by his wife, Nadezhda of Seward, Nebraska; sons, Timofey (Abigail) Nevzorov of Lincoln, Nebraska, Benjamin Nevzorov and fiancée Nelli Culiomin of Thornton, Colorado, and Philip Nevzorov of Thornton, Colorado; and daughter, Anna Nevzorov of Seward, Nebraska.
